Project Short Description:
The project consists of the installation of two 63 MVA power transformers, a 220 kV line bay, a double busbar arrangement, and all associated primary and secondary equipment required to establish a reliable and efficient power transmission and distribution system. The project is designed to enhance the capacity, reliability, and operational flexibility of the Herat power network by ensuring a secure and uninterrupted power supply. Upon completion, it will significantly strengthen Herat Breshna's ability to transmit and distribute electricity, improve the stability and quality of the power system, reduce the risk of supply interruptions, and support the growing electricity demand of residential, commercial, and industrial consumers. Ultimately, the project will contribute to the provision of a sustainable, reliable, and efficient electricity supply, thereby supporting the socio-economic development of Herat Province.
